Vernissage le dimanche 5 juillet en présence des artistes

 

Du 7 juillet au 29 novembre, la Fondation Cartier pour l’art contemporain présente Né dans la rue – Graffiti, une exposition consacrée au graffiti et au street art. Se déployant dans les espaces d’exposition, sur la façade et dans le jardin de la Fondation Cartier, l’exposition met en lumière l’extraordinaire vitalité d’un mouvement artistique qui a pris son essor dans les rues de New York au début des années 1970 et qui est rapidement devenu un phénomène mondial.

From July 7 to November 29, the Fondation Cartier pour l’art contemporain will present Born in the Streets—Graffiti, an exhibition devoted to graffiti and street art. Occupying the entire gallery space of the Fondation Cartier, as well as the building’s façade and surrounding garden, the exhibition will bring to light the extraordinary expansion of an artistic movement that developed in the streets of New York in the early 1970s to rapidly become a worldwide phenomenon.
